How much money and work goes into, putting in a ratchet shifter like this:

Im on a tight budget, and dont have that much expierence. What else do i have to buy to make this work?

Everything you need will be included with the shifter.You may have to modify your console a little bit. Do you realize that shifter you are looking at is for a camaro or a firebird? It may require more modification of your console. You may want to look at the B&M mega shifter.
